| Description/Notes: | Provide leadership in the vision, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the NCISD Fine Arts program. |
| Qualifications: | EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate Mid-Management certificate or Principal certification preferred Certified in state appraisal system SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional programs and practices Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to develop and deliver effective staff development Knowledgeable and experience with K-12 fine-arts programs and curriculum Such additions and alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable. EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience as a classroom teacher Supervisory experience or coordination of district level fine arts preferred. |
