| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, and implementation of district departments of financial services and child nutrition. Serve as the chief financial advisor to the Superintendent. Ensure the management and optimization of financial resources, including federal and state grants and programs necessary to support the district's educational mission and strategic goals. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or other related field from an accredited university Certified Public Accountant (preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics Knowledge of information/data processing systems and financial applications Ability to resolve conflict, listen, and appropriately respond to concerns Demonstrated leadership skills Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to coordinate district functions Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: 3-5 years administrative or management experience 3-5 years experience with supervisory responsibility in the fields of finance or accounting |
