| Description/Notes: | Assist the Director of Transportation in directing and managing the district’s transportation and vehicle maintenance program; oversee maintenance of all district-owned vehicles; ensure safe and efficient operation of the transportation department’s fleet. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification/Licensure Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or extended supervisory experience preferred Valid Texas commercial driver’s license with school bus and passenger endorsements or ability to obtain within 6 months of date of hire. School Bus Driver Certification Special Knowledge/Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Well-developed written and verbal skills Computer literacy, preferably in word processing and spreadsheets Knowledge of legal issues of interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, discipline and termination preferred Ability to manage budget and personnel Strong organizational skills Experience Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in transportation fleet operations, preferably with public school districts |
