Description/Notes: PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards by monitoring and reporting on project progress. Collaborate with the Bond Construction Manager and other team members/consultants to gather, analyze, and communicate project information. Develop detailed project schedules, budget forecasts, and risk management plans, to support the effective planning and execution of projects. Provide insights and recommendations that help in making informed decisions, ensuring the smooth progression of projects from initiation to completion. Ensure that project objectives are met, while also identifying any areas of improvement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Develop and maintain comprehensive budget reports, including all critical path activities and dependencies between tasks and report to board regularly.
Prepare, analyze, and present cost forecasts and budget reports to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines.
Implement and oversee project control mechanisms such as change management processes, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
Facilitate risk management activities, identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with Bond Project Coordinator, Program Managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics and budget management.
Establish and maintain project documentation and records, ensuring compliance with district policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform quality control audits to ensure project outputs meet the required standards and stakeholder expectations.

Policy, Reports, and Law:

Complete periodic reports of financial project progress.
Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required including coordinating the storage and handling of financial documents.

Budget and Inventory:

Assist with estimating cost of construction and repair projects, including labor, materials, and other related costs
Assist with the evaluation of formal bids
Review request for payment applications.
Ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed wisely.

Other:

Perform any and all duties as assigned.
Successfully advances district initiatives.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (Finance /Accounting BBA preferred)
Clear and valid Texas driver’s license
Salary Range: $75,439 -$107,445
