| Description/Notes: | Provide leadership and expertise to assist classroom teachers in enabling Emergent Bilingual (EB) students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Model lessons and instructional strategies designed to offer EB students the appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for affective, linguistic and cognitive growth. Act as an instructional liaison in organizing, providing, and delivering staff development and teacher training. Assist teachers in providing coordination of curriculum to facilitate attainment of English language proficiency and mastery of the TEKS. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required ESL and/or Bilingual endorsements Master's Degree preferred |
| Salary Range: | $53,361 to $65,282 |
