| Description/Notes: | Shall organize and administrate the overall program of athletics. Shall recommend with the advice of the Superintendent and the professional personnel required to implement the program. Shall supervise the program of athletics and see that all guidelines of the University Interscholastic League are followed. |
| Qualifications: | Master’s Degree required. A valid Texas teaching certificate required. Minimum of three years’ experience as a successful varsity coach or athletic director required. Knowledge of the overall operations of a district-wide athletic program with the ability to manage budget and personnel, knowledge of state and UIL policies governing athletics, and strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. |
