| Description/Notes: | The Director of Instruction, Grants, and Innovation provides strategic leadership to advance high-quality instruction, secure external funding, and drive innovative practices that improve student academic outcomes across Kingsville ISD. This position ensures the alignment of curriculum, instructional practices, and grant-funded initiatives with the district’s mission, vision, and priorities. The Director leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs and innovative initiatives, while securing and managing grants that expand opportunities for students and staff. Through collaboration with district and campus leadership, this role promotes a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and forward-thinking practices that prepare all students for college, career, and lifelong success. |
| Qualifications: | Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required; Master degree in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred. Valid Texas teaching certificate required; Texas principal or mid-management certification preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience and three (3) years of instructional leadership experience (e.g., instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, or district-level leader). Demonstrated experience in grant writing, program development, and/or innovation initiatives preferred. |
