| Description/Notes: | Provide strategic leadership, development, and oversight of the district’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) system in alignment with Texas Education Agency guidelines. Ensure the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a valid, reliable, and equitable local designation system that supports teacher effectiveness, recruitment, and retention. This position is responsible for the oversight of the District’s compliance and policy processes and procedures by monitoring and interpreting the impact of proposed or enacted legislation. Responsibilities include the monitoring of legislative developments, the formulation, execution, and publication of policies, regulations, and handbooks, consulting and coordinating legal services. |
| Qualifications: | Master’s degree in education, human resources, public administration, or related field required Valid Texas teaching certificate required Principal or administrative certification required Minimum of five (5) years of experience in education, including campus or district administration/leadership Experience with Teacher Incentive Allotment (design, development, and implementation of TIA local designation system) Experience with educator evaluation systems (T-TESS & T-PESS) and/or compensation models preferred Experience in program implementation, data analysis, or accountability systems preferred |
| Salary Range: | $110,003 - $156,251 |
| Benefits: | 7 Local leave days 5 State leave days District paid $4,644 annual insurance contribution for eligible employees, contingent upon enrollment in a medical insurance plan |
