Description/Notes: Primary Purpose:

Provide instructional leadership and support classroom teaching to ensure a strong, aligned Tier 1 instructional program at the LIFT and ATEMS while leading the design, development, and implementation planning of the district's Virtual and Hybrid Learning Program in alignment with VHPA grant priorities.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Instructional Leadership and Support (ATEMS)

Assist and support campus principal as directed in strengthening Tier 1 instruction

Coordinate curriculum activities and foster a supportive environment for instructional improvement and professional growth

Assist teachers with lesson planning, instructional strategies, and classroom management

Support implementation of high-quality instructional materials and TEKS alignment

Participate regularly in PLCs and campus planning meetings

Provide demonstration lessons, coaching, and professional development for teachers

Assist with disaggregation of student performance data and development of targeted instructional responses

Support intervention systems and instructional planning aligned to campus improvement goals

Monitor instructional practices and support continuous improvement of student outcomes

Serve as a resource to teachers, administrators, and district personnel in areas of instructional expertise

Provide a communication link between campus and Curriculum & Instruction Department

Support campus testing coordination

Online and Hybrid Learning Program Design (VHPA)

Lead the design and development of the district's Virtual/Hybrid Learning Program in alignment with VHPA grant requirements

Develop program structures including instructional models, scheduling, and student support systems

Collaborate with district departments to align curriculum, technology, and accountability systems for online learning

Support selection, implementation, and evaluation of digital platforms and instructional tools

Design systems for student engagement, progress monitoring, and instructional support in virtual environments

Develop implementation timelines, processes, and readiness plans for program launch

Support development of staffing models and teacher expectations for online and hybrid instruction

Ensure alignment of virtual program to TEKS, district curriculum, and accountability standards

Program Coordination and Collaboration

Coordinate meetings, planning sessions, and professional learning related to instructional and online learning initiatives

Collaborate with campus and district leadership to ensure alignment of instructional practices and program design

Communicate program progress, needs, and outcomes to stakeholders

Support integration of innovative practices, including responsible use of AI and digital tools in instruction

Assist with development and implementation of assessments and progress monitoring systems

Perform other job-related duties as assigned



Supervisory Responsibilities: Students andteachers



Working Conditions:  Supervision of student activities may be inside or outside of a building.

Qualifications: Professional Qualifications:

Master's Degree

Certified in Principal as Instructional Leader (TExES 268)

Certified in Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)

Two years experience as a classroom teacher
Salary Range: Wage/Hour Status:  Exempt

Pay Grade: Administrative – Professional - 5

**Annually re-evaluated for effectiveness
Benefits: Benefits are offered and the district pays $410.00 towards medical premium a month.
