| Description/Notes: | CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES Process all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job Reports for work ready to perform responsibilities Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC Performs professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies, processes, and procedures Meets proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor Incorporates appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC Develop collaborative and positive relationships with schools and co-workers Exhibit planning and leadership on assigned tasks and projects Ability to take initiative and exhibit innovative thinking Keep supervisor advised of all pertinent financial and operations business Ability to handle constructive criticism in a positive manner Evidence of following-up and following-through with services Evidence of professional loyalty Other duties as assigned by supervisor DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to handle and see to completion multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline Demonstrates positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills Be willing to work as a member of a team but also independently Attends all called meetings including departmental staff meetings, work team meetings, and general staff meetings Actively contributes to assigned work teams Upholds confidentiality of the information processed in all work, if required Develops and competently implements an individual work plan that clearly contributes to the accomplishment of departmental, Leadership & Instruction Team, and organizational goals Analyzes metrics and evaluates outcomes to optimize impact of work Demonstrates a commitment to provide exceptional customer service Delivers exceptional professional learning experiences POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in TEA orientation and all Texas Mentorship Trainings (TMT) and any other training required by TEA Redeliver TMT through a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) model Build relationships with LEAs & EPPs and recruit them to the right TMT pathway Provide TMT coaching and implementation to LEAs Grow teacher mentorship practices and systems in LEAs Serve as a Field Supervisor for teachers participating in Region 13’s Educator Certification Program (ECP) ? Conduct required observations of teacher candidates and provide timely feedback aligned to certification and program standards. ? Coach and support candidates in strengthening instructional practice, classroom management, and professional growth. ? Collaborate with campus mentor teachers and administrators to support candidate success. ? Maintain accurate documentation of observations and candidate progress in accordance with ECP and state requirements. Support ESC Talent Initiatives Collaborate with other Talent Initiatives to ensure alignment with EDF Ensure grant compliance for the Texas Mentorship Training grant Work collaboratively with ESC staff to provide consistent instructional and leadership supports Provide on-site visits to LEAs as needed Other duties assigned by supervisor SPECIAL ASSIGNMENTS Additional projects as assigned by supervisor or Executive Director TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Up to 226 working days This is an at-will employment position. In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing. | Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree required Valid Texas teaching certificate Valid Texas Principal Certification or equivalent preferred Knowledge of effective research: change process, systems thinking, organizational culture and adult learners Ability to plan implement, deliver and sustain professional development for school and district personnel Advanced knowledge of curriculum practices, instruction, assessment, school improvement, and organizational culture Any acceptable variations of the above as approved |
