| Description/Notes: | The Administrator leads the design, implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and related educator performance and compensation initiatives. This position exercises independent judgment and discretion in ensuring TIA systems are compliant with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements, aligned to state statutes, and responsive to the strategic goals of the Education Service Center (ESC) and partnering local education agencies. |
| Qualifications: | Education Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Education Leadership, or related field 2. Master’s degree in Education or related field 3. Valid Texas teaching certificate 4. Valid Mid-management or Principal certification 5. T-TESS appraiser certification is required or obtainable within 6 months of hire Experience 1. Three years of successful teaching experience 2. Experience as a school administrator or university educator preparation program 3. Experience as a T-TESS appraiser 4. Working knowledge of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and high-quality instructional practices 5. Experience with professional development facilitation 6. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills 7. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and compliance requirements |
| Salary Range: | $86,549 to $127,175 226 work days |
| Benefits: | The ESC contributes to both TRS and Social Security. |
