About the Role We are seeking a PEIMS Applications Administrator to join our Technology and Information Services team. This position is responsible for supporting the district's PowerSchool Student Information System and associated data platforms, including Elevate Data Quality, OnDataSuite, and PEIMS ERP Data. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all PEIMS and TEA data reporting requirements. The position suits someone who likes connecting data systems, state compliance, and cross-departmental coordination. This is an opportunity to own the data processes that 56 campuses count on — and to have a direct hand in the accuracy of the district's state reporting and funding. Key Responsibilities -Support and maintain PowerSchool SIS, Elevate Data Quality, OnDataSuite, and PEIMS ERP data platforms to ensure accurate student, staff, and financial data -Prepare, validate, and submit PEIMS and TSDS Core Collection data in compliance with TEA Data Standards and TWEDS -Coordinate secure data transmissions through the TEA State Portal on schedule -Collaborate with HR, Finance, Special Education, CTE, Bilingual/ESL, and other departments to ensure accurate data collection and coding across all PEIMS domain -Create and analyze reports and data extracts using SQL, PowerSchool, Elevate Data Quality, and OnDataSuite -Manage State Unique ID processes for students and staff, resolving duplicates and enrollment errors in TSDS -Provide guidance and training to campus and district staff on attendance accounting, discipline coding, data entry, and SAAH compliance -Develop and maintain district PEIMS documentation, manuals, and validation procedures -Analyze district data for errors, anomalies, and trends to support compliance and optimize state and federal funding |
| Qualifications: | -Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Education, or related field (preferred) with 3+ years of experience in PEIMS data management, SIS administration, or educational data systems -PEIMS Certification or equivalent training preferred -Experience with PowerSchool, Elevate Data Quality, and OnDataSuite required or strongly preferred -Prior experience in a Texas public school district or education service center environment preferred |
| Salary Range: | $72,875.96 - $87,803.26 |
