| Description/Notes: | Responsible for the overall leadership and management of the district's curriculum and instruction function. Lead the strategic planning and implementation of curriculum and instruction programs. Ensure that the development and delivery of curriculum and instructional programs are effective and efficient, incorporate district goals, and support student achievement. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master's degree in Educational Administration or Curriculum & Instruction Required Superintendent Certification Recommended Mid-Management or Principal's Certification Required Certified T-TESS appraiser and T-PESS Required Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to function as a high performing team member Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience required Minimum of five years of successful experience in school or district leadership positions required Experience as campus principal required |
| Salary Range: | The salary will be based on the salary schedule currently in effect by Board Policy and Administrative Regulations. Administrative and Professional Pay Grade 10 $116,574 - $146,634 228 workdays |
