| Description/Notes: | Join Our Team As the Next Speech Language Pathologist at Round Rock ISD! Round Rock ISD is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in achieving their communication, academic, and social success. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, families, and campus teams to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes across the district. About Special Education at Round Rock ISD: Round Rock Independent School District provides a free appropriate public education (FAPE) to all children with disabilities ages 3–21. The district serves students with a wide range of needs, including orthopedic impairment, health impairment, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, learning disability, speech impairment, autism, multiple disabilities, and sensory impairments. Services for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired, or auditorially impaired begin at birth. Special education services are specially designed to meet the unique needs of each student and are delivered in both special education and general education settings. These services may include instructional modifications, specialized support, supplementary aids, and other individualized arrangements to ensure students can access learning and thrive academically, socially, and communicatively. About the Role: The Speech Language Pathologist implements a comprehensive speech and language therapy program aligned with district goals, state and federal regulations, and evidence-based practices. This role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students with speech and language needs while collaborating closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth and access to learning. Key Responsibilities: -Assess, diagnose, and evaluate students’ speech and language needs and communicate findings to families and staff. -Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy programs aligned to student goals. -Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers to integrate strategies into daily classroom instruction. -Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with special education and campus teams. -Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines. -Support campus and district improvement goals through data analysis and program evaluation. -Provide guidance and support to assigned staff, interns, or assistants as applicable. -Engage in professional development to remain current on evidence-based practices and regulatory standards. |
| Qualifications: | -Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. -Valid Texas license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). |
| Salary Range: | $64,131.65 - $92,286.37 |
