Description/Notes: | PRIMARY FUNCTION The TIA Coordinator leads the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) across Cleveland ISD. This role works collaboratively with district leaders, campus administrators, and teachers to ensure fidelity to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, accurate data submission, and continuous improvement of the district’s designation system. The coordinator ensures that eligible teachers are supported, data is validated and submitted accurately, and the system meets standards for equity and effectiveness. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Master’s degree from accredited university Texas Administrator SBEC certification Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser Special Knowledge/Skills: Strong knowledge of TIA guidelines, teacher observation tools, and student growth measures. Ability to manage multiple data systems and meet strict deadlines. Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to interpret and apply state policy to local implementation. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in education with administrative responsibilities Experience with teacher evaluation systems (e.g., T-TESS), data analysis, and student growth models Familiarity with TEA guidelines and accountability systems strongly preferred EVALUATION Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provision of the Board’s policy on the evaluation of personnel ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversee district-wide implementation of the TIA plan aligned with TEA’s requirements. Serve as the primary liaison between Cleveland ISD and TEA regarding TIA updates, submissions, and compliance. Maintain and revise the district’s TIA plan as needed. Coordinate the collection and analysis of teacher observation data, student growth measures, and other designation components. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data submitted to TEA for teacher designations. Work closely with Information Systems, Finance, Teaching and Learning, and the HR department to align data systems. Monitor and ensure compliance with TEA rules and guidance for the TIA. Prepare required reports and documentation for state audits and local stakeholders. Stay current with TEA updates and communicate changes to relevant district personnel. Train administrators and evaluators on T-TESS calibration, student growth measures, and designation criteria. Lead ongoing professional development for stakeholders on TIA processes and updates. Maintain open and transparent communication with teachers about TIA eligibility, designations, and appeal processes. Support campuses in building understanding and buy-in for the TIA system. Respond to teacher questions and concerns related to TIA processes or outcomes. Promote equitable access to designation opportunities across all campuses. Adhere to professional and ethical standards, in accordance with generally accepted community standards and the Texas Education Agency Code of Ethics. Develop needed professional skills appropriate to job performance. Maintain confidentiality. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills. Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on staff committees as required. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and the Superintendent of Schools.
