| Description/Notes: | Direct and manage the district’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and general maintenance operations; maintain physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use may be made at all times; provide students with a physical learning environment that is safe, clean, attractive, and functional. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification/Licensure Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or extended supervisory experience preferred Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of basic principles of construction, school plant maintenance, and building automation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems Ability to supervise maintenance and contract services Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to coordinate district functions Working knowledge of applicable software applications Bilingual skills preferred Experience Minimum of 5 years supervisor experience in maintenance operations Five years’ experience in maintaining a large plant or building |
