The UTHS District team members work on-site at the UT-Austin Main Campus. UTHS District is an accredited public high school district, designated as a special purpose district established in 1999.

Description/Notes: This position requires reporting to work on the UT Austin main campus; however, currently the UT High School District is piloting a hybrid remote schedule with three days on campus and two days remote. This position requires remote internet access.

Provide administrative and technology support services for the online UT High School to serve K-12 students, parents, and partner district educators by providing online, email, phone, and in-person customer services such as technical troubleshooting and payment processing for online courses and exams, office support, data entry, and textbook and lab kit distribution. UT High School is currently utilizing a hybrid remote/on-site work schedule for this position with a set schedule to be determined upon employment.

Responsibilities:
Support online testing processes and technology needs for internal and external partners. Communicate with students, instructors, parents, and UTHS staff to support student success. Utilize the learning management systems, database, and registration and payment platforms. Provide technology help-desk support for student access to Proctorio online, remotely proctored exams and Canvas LMS course platform. Train students, parents, staff, and proctors on UTHS testing processes and Proctorio system procedures.

Coordinate student services customer support by interacting with internal and external partners including UTHS administrative assistants, specialists, and coordinators as well as district partners. Provide information regarding requests and recommend solutions to streamline efforts. Coordinate and process requests and establish procedures for all online and print Final Exams for internal and external partners. Establish procedures for processing requests, scoring, grade reporting, proctor and site approval, and grade verification in order to ensure test security, student confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Provide technology support services to students, parents, educators, and staff. Offer "help desk" services to students, parents, and educators for access and navigation of online courses in multiple Canvas LMS instances/sub accounts and online exam access in the Proctorio remote proctored exam system. Prepare and maintain guiding documents and train UTHS staff regarding use of technical registration and enrollment systems and troubleshooting issues such as online exam administration. Track frequent requests and recommend solutions to address customer service issues.

Process payments and enter data in registration and enrollment systems including exam requests, course registration, and specialty services. Interact with IT as needed to troubleshoot systems needs for specialty data and payment processing. Utilize the Skyward SIS and Heartland/MySchoolBucks credit card processing system, Mishell SIS, and Global Transport payment systems to process payments, refunds, discounts, and specialty requests. Support partner school district requests, enrollments, extensions, and invoicing.
Maintain student records related to testing and score reporting and enter student data into the Skyward SIS aligned to state required PEIMS reporting standards. Oversee archiving, grade report distribution, and records retention in paper and online formats for Final Exams. Run reports in the Skyward SIS and Heartland/MySchoolBucks systems for accounting to mass assign student fees, balance transactions, and process refunds and void payments to support the business and PEIMS data entry functions for the Diploma Programs.

Assist with exam distribution as needed to fill partner school and individual student requests. Enter registrations and mail out exams. Assist with PEIMS data reports and data entry and student registration and records requests to meet state required data specifications. Occasional lifting and moving of boxes for archiving purposes, cross-train to provide support for a variety of UTHS programs. Other related functions as assigned.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of one year of experience in customer services, student services, accounting, business management, sales, education services, computer science, or related field. Four additional years of customer service experience in a related field may substitute for bachelor’s degree. Experience working in an educational organization to provide student services. Excellent technology skills including experience working with databases, data entry, and spreadsheets or registration systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet organizational goals. Professional demeanor.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related field such as education, computer science, or information systems. More than one year of experience working in an educational organization with a focus on providing student services. Experience working in the Skyward Student Information System. Experience working in the Canvas Learning Management System. Experience providing technology desktop support. Advanced technology skills including work with online exams, courses, textbooks, and registration systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.

Satisfactory outcomes of fingerprinting and criminal background check required.
Salary Range: $40,000+ depending on qualifications.
