| Description/Notes: | JG Consulting has engaged with Manor Independent School District to recruit candidates to serve as the Athletic Director. Manor Independent School District (MISD) is a public school district in Manor, Texas that serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The district was established in 1885 and services all of Manor, a large part of northeastern Austin, and extends north and west into rural Travis County. MISD's mission is to provide equitable resources, a safe learning environment, and high quality educational services. Manor ISD has 18 schools and over 9,700 students. The district's minority enrollment is 90%, and 68% of students are economically disadvantaged. MISD has been recognized as a "District of Distinction" by the Texas Art Education Association for 6 straight years and has had 3 alumni drafted to professional sports in the last two years - 2 NFL players and 1 NBA player. Manor ISD has two high schools, one a 4A and one a 6A, and they compete in all major UIL sports. |
