| Description/Notes: | Develop instruction plan and teach classes in Game Development, create a gaming pathway using the Gearbox and other curriculum pathways, to help children ages 6-12 unleash their creativity while promoting a fun and safe environment. Provide instructional and technical support to CTE teachers and programs in the following Career Clusters, Arts, A/V Technology and Communications (AAVTC), and Middle School Career Development. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum Education/Certification: 1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching cetification preferred 2. Masters Degree in Educational Administration or instruction preferred Special Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills A problem-solving mindset with excellent written and verbal skills Solid grasp of game development, technologies, and trends Thorough understanding of social media trends and analytics Solid experience with community-building programs and initiatives Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral format Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional |
