Description/Notes: | Supports and facilitates all areas of work of the Office of the Superintendent Supports and facilitates the work of the Board of Directors relating to daily matters and meetings The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a largely technology based and fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a small office of diverse people and programs. |
Qualifications: | High school diploma required, associate’s degree or higher preferred Prior experience working in a school district or public charter school highly preferred 3 or more years of administrative or paralegal experience, other secretarial experience may be considered Experience in establishing and maintaining comprehensive electronic filing systems, which includes confidential information and a combination of skills to include record keeping and operating standard office equipment Ability to independently prioritize and to function accurately and smoothly under pressure. Must be willing to attend training throughout the school year at the Regional Service Center or other various locations, if requested to do so. Proven ability to effectively manage time and work in a polite and friendly manner as it relates to a variety of constituencies, including, but not limited to administrators, parents, teachers, students, other school staff, and school visitors. Must have proper, positive, and professional communication skills. This includes excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses excellent organizational skills. Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive and Board meetings Experience in managing a Board Book software/platform, preferred Strong knowledge of ZOOM, MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience handling high stress work environments Strong interpersonal skills; and an ability to deescalate an upset stakeholder Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the district may find appropriate and acceptable |
Salary Range: | $48,500 - $60,000 |
