Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting operations of the Coffee Shop located at iSchool High, as part of the student’s school program. The Assistant Manager to help day to day operations, and inspire staff to provide excellent customer service. The majority of the time is spent assisting the Coffee Shop Manager with the direction of the operations to grow the business, motivate employees, and manage costs.



High School Diploma
Additional Certification (Business Administration, Hospitality, Entrepreneurship) a plus


Retail or restaurant experience
Leadership experience
Sales experience

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Customer Service attitude and knowledge of customer service techniques
Interpersonal skills

Ability to work with in-store hours

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with day to day operations
Help train and coach staff
Coordinate and order supplies
Assist manager with financial aspects of store
Meet with the manager to ensure daily goals are addressed
Ensure employees understand goals and business needs
Maintain quality and safety standards
Demonstrate and inspire an attitude to manage smooth transitions and be a positive example
Plan, identify and commute responsibilities to manage store operations

All equipment required to perform jobs duties and task previously described.
