Campus Description: Teaching position is 6th Grade English at Tahoka Middle School with 65 6th graders. Tahoka is a 2A district with 620 students from PK-12 grades. The middle school will be a new building with the best technology equipment available.

Description/Notes: We are searching for a dedicated full-time coach/teacher who has a passion for teaching and a determination for student success, with a teaching field of ELAR at the junior high school level.
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications: Must have teacher certification and have baseball experience as a player and/or coach.
TX Teaching Certificate – ELAR middle school
Any initially alternative certified teacher would have to have to be enrolled in an alternative certification program by July 1st for consideration.
CDL or ability to obtain
Salary Range: State base + $4500 and coaching stipend
Benefits: The district will contribute $325 toward the employee's health insurance as well as provide a $10,000.00 life insurance policy.
