Classical Academy academic programs are based on the belief that successful students become successful adults. Our core curriculum is specifically formulated to prepare students to succeed in college. This preparation includes crucial, fundamental, academic courses with a special emphasis on American civics, followed by more advanced courses. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists with supervision of employees as directed in accordance with the organization's policies and
applicable laws
• Interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Planning, assigning and directing work
• Assists in appraising the performance of staff, rewards and disciplines employees according to
school policies and procedures, and addresses and resolves complaints and problems
• Promotes and encourage the success of every student by advocating, nurturing, and
sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth
• Promotes and encourages the success of every student by ensuring management of
the organization, operation, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective
learning environment
• Promotes and encourages the success of every student by collaborating with faculty
and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs,
and mobilizing community resources
• Promotes and encourages the success of every student by understanding, responding to, and influencing the political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context
• Assists with evaluating educational program to ensure conformance to state and school board standards
• Assists with coordinating educational programs through meetings with staff, review of teachers' activities, and issuance of directives
• Perform special projects, during and after normal business hours, and other duties as assigned
• Promotes and encourages the success of every student by acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner
Qualifications: Qualifications:

Education/Certification and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited College or University, (Master's degree preferred)
• Successful completion of the Administrator Licensure Completion Plan (ALCP) for Building Level Administrator, (preferred)
• 5+ years of successful teaching experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Advanced knowledge of federal and state education laws
• Computer literate
• Strong organizational, time management, communication, and
interpersonal skills
• Able to learn teaching curriculum software programs and instruct others
on the utilization
• Ability to understand the individual needs of each student and train
others on the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Clear understanding of goal setting for students and the individualized
approach
• Ability to communicate with all levels of students, parents, teachers, the community, and corporate staff
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and student data such as
diagnostic test results, state assessments scoring, transcripts, and grade point average
