| Description/Notes: | Days: 226 days Teaching Field Open Primary Purpose: Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and the ability to excel in the assigned sport. Contribute to the education program as a whole and to the growth of students involved in athletics so that they are successfully competitive. |
| Qualifications: | *Experience as an Athletic Director, Campus Athletic Coordinator Preferred * If no AD/Coordinator Exp. then 5 years minimum as offensive or defensive varsity coordinator in a 3A and above school district. * If no OC/DC Coordinator Experience than minimum 10 years teaching/coaching varsity experience in 3A and above school district. *Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned *Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class B) *Competitive football and coaching experience preferred *Knowledge of directing a successful football program *Knowledge of state and UIL policies governing athletics *Ability to implement policies and procedures *Ability to interpret data *Ability to manage budget and personnel and coordinate district function *Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills |
