|Campus Description:||PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Implement and maintain district compensation and staffing plans. Prepare salary data for district budget. Oversee personnel actions involving auxiliary employees.
Knowledge of the selection, training, and supervision of personnel
Knowledge of wage and salary, benefits, and employee communications programs
Knowledge of school employment law and hearing procedures
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Five years in a supervisory position, preferably in public education environment
Experience in human resources, preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1.Maintain position control and employee management systems based on district staffing and allocation guidelines.
2.Calculate salaries for new employees in accordance with established administrative compensation guidelines.
3.Maintain all district salary schedules and compensation tables.
4.Assist in compiling information and preparing budget reports for the department, including data necessary for annual budget process.
5.Submit monthly employee resignations and recommendations to the school board.
6.Maintain job descriptions.
7.Maintain service records for employees.
8.Respond to concerns and complaints from auxiliary employees.
9.Assist with recruiting efforts and coordinating attendance at job fairs.
10.Prepare purchase requisitions and travel requests for the department.
11.Assist Director of Human Resources as needed.
12.Maintain confidentiality of information.
13.Other duties assigned.
Assists with supervision of Human Resource Services staff.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Products and extensive database experience.
Ability to use Skyward, or similar human resource management systems.
Ability to manage conflicts.
Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Repetitive hand motions, prolonged use of computer.
Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
|Salary Range:||$63,563.00 - $77,516.00 / Per Year 226 Days|
