| Description/Notes: | Evaluate and provide leadership for the overall instructional program of the district. Be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of Curriculum and Instruction Department that includes maintaining the district Curriculum Management System (CMS), ordering and managing instructional resources throughout the district, leading and evaluating instructional practices and strategies, and developing district professional development plan. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum Education/Certification: Master’s degree in educational administration or related field Texas Principal Certificate or Texas Mid-Management Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: Three years’ experience as a classroom teacher Three years’ administrator experience in instructional roles |
