| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master's degree in educational administration or related field Valid Texas Standard Principal Certificate or other appropriate SBEC certificate Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) certified (or willing to obtain) Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions and support operations Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills If assigned to a Bilingual or Dual-Language Campus, ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written) in both English and Spanish Experience: Five years’ experience as a classroom teacher or instructional leader |
