| Description/Notes: | Leakey ISD is actively seeking a Head Basketball Coach who shares our vision of using sports to instill essential skills and values in our students. As the Head Basketball Coach at Leakey ISD, you’ll shape our basketball program and foster vital life skills in our student-athletes. Alongside coaching duties, there’s an open teaching assignment that may encompass subjects like Social Studies, ELAR, or CTE. We seek a coach who not only excels in the game but also prioritizes character development, sportsmanship, and leadership both on and off the court. |
| Qualifications: | Prior coaching background at the high school level, preferably in basketball. Effective leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating and empowering student-athletes. Dedication to cultivating a supportive team environment and advancing character growth. Proficiency in basketball strategies, tactics, and safety measures. Devotion to the academic achievement and holistic welfare of student-athletes. |
| Salary Range: | Base Salary: The base salary for the Head Football Coach position at Leakey ISD is based on the LISD pay scale. Stipends: In addition to the base salary, the following stipends are available: Athletic Stipend to include 10 extra days Head Coach Stipend Additional Stipends are available depending on other areas you will coach |
