Campus Description: PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist with administration of the District’s Finance Office, to include development and implementation of procedures that ensure timely fulfillment of Finance Office requirements, while providing a high level of customer service. In addition, serve as the primary point of contact for the successful support, maintenance and operation of the financial and human resources modules in Skyward, the District’s financial and human resources software.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
Experience:
Two to five years successful experience in a Texas public school district preferred
Experience with Skyward finance and human resources modules is preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Thorough knowledge of governmental accounting standards established by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB)
Thorough knowledge of financial coding requirements from TEA’s Financial Accountability System Resource Guide
Able to analyze and interpret financial data
Excellent computer skills including the use of software applications such as Word and Excel
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Skyward experience a plus
Effective supervisory skills
Experience in creating reports derived from the analyses of collected data
Experience in using various software programs to enhance the presentation of required reports
An understanding of analytical and statistical analyses

Salary Range: Commensurable with experience.
Daily rate range: 385.61 - 543.57
