Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution.
Valid teaching certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), OR eligibility for enrollment in an alternative certification program approved by the TEA.
Strong knowledge of subject matter content and pedagogical practices, with the ability to effectively teach in the assigned grade level or subject area.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and community members.
Commitment to equity and inclusion in education, and the ability to create a culturally responsive classroom environment.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a growth mindset, with a willingness to embrace new challenges and opportunities for professional growth.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive school culture.

Salary Range: Teacher Salary plus stipends
215 Day Contract

This position is partially funded through the 2024-2025 school year by the TEA LASO Blended Learning Grant. Continuation of the position beyond the 2024-2025 school year is contingent upon grant completion and available funding. The Blended Learning Coach must complete the scope of work for the position described in the approved Blended Learning Grant application proposal submitted to Texas Education Agency (see Primary Purpose and Roles below).

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Blended Learning Coach will coordinate and lead professional development regarding blended learning, oversee instructional materials for the blended learning program, observe classroom instruction and provide feedback to teachers, and maintain district data related to blended learning (student progress & application usage). This position will also serve as a part-time teacher.
