| Description/Notes: | RCSS is proud of the work we do to serve our students. We work to ensure small caseloads for our specialists. Note that the case managers complete their own ARDs. We do not complete SHARS paperwork. We have a lot of fun as we collaborate to support our students and communities. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: LPC-Master’s degree or higher in professional counseling or related field from an accredited college or university. Valid Texas License as a Licensed Professional Counselor granted by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Special Education Counselor - Texas teacher certification (special education certification preferred) and at least three (3) years of successful teaching experience. Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid counselor’s certificate. Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of procedures for assessing behavioral functioning for educational purposes. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; computer skills. Experience: Two years’ experience in providing services in an educational setting preferred. |
