| Qualifications: | 5 years of successful management experience at multiple levels Demonstrated commitment to successful student achievement and improved school performance Successful experience as a Texas superintendent preferred Demonstrated working knowledge of the role of ESCs in providing effective products and services Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all ESC Region 14 stakeholders Demonstrated collaboration skills Visionary who can anticipate school districts' needs Strong financial planning skills Strong understanding of both large and small school districts’ needs Knowledge and experience with the legislative process Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies Customer service-oriented Demonstrated communication skills Knowledge of Texas Education Agency operations Understanding of Texas School Law |
