| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: Master’s degree in guidance counseling Valid Texas counseling certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior GT Assessments and 504 meetings Volunteer/Mentor Program TELPAS assessments Therapy Dog program Experience: Three years teaching experience 2-3 years experience as a counselor is preferred. |
| Salary Range: | The Counselor position is paid on the Administrative/Professional Salary Schedule, with the minimum salary beginning at $51,872, with additional years of experience given. |
