Description/Notes: | Assist in the management of District personnel functions to ensure legally sound and effective personnel management practices. Assist in the development of personnel programs, employment training, recruitment and staffing, and employee programs for auxiliary and part-time staff. |
Qualifications: | Education/Certification ● Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources OR Master’s Degree in Education ● Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, preferred ● Valid Principal’s Certificate, preferred Special Knowledge/Skills ● Knowledge of best practices in recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of personnel ● Ability to utilize various applications for data management ● Success utilizing social media platforms for professional branding/marketing ● Ability to equitably implement policy and procedures ● Strong conflict management and mediation skills ● Ability to utilize technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness ● Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills ● Ability to develop and deliver training to employees ● Ability to effectively customize communication for various audiences Experience Internal Candidates: ● Minimum of three years of successful experience as a campus administrator or District administrator ● Minimum of two years of successful experience as a campus principal or the leader of a District department, preferred External Candidates: ● Minimum of three years of successful human resources leadership/supervisory experience OR minimum of five years of successful experience as a campus administrator ● Minimum of three years of successful experience as a campus principal or the leader of a District department, preferred All Candidates: ● Experience establishing and promoting an effective workplace culture ● Strong track record of identifying and selecting quality personnel ● Alternatives to the above, as the District finds appropriate |
