Description/Notes: | Team oriented attitude and desire to work collaboratively with ESC staff campus/district/charter school personnel. Effective skills in leadership, administration, organization, planning, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. Advanced technical knowledge of school accounting and budgeting. Strong collaboration skills. Working knowledge of finance, accounting and payroll functions. Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and word processing. Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data. Actively participate in and/or provide support for inter-departmental teams to help improve student performance in the region, to improve the ESC’s internal operations, and to meet the established goals and objectives for the ESC. Process and provide technical assistance to Business Services districts/charter schools in the areas of budgeting, accounts receivable, purchase orders, vendor payments, accounts payable, draw downs, and payroll functions. Process and prepare monthly financial and board reports for Business Services districts/charter schools. Serve as first point of accounting/payroll contact to all stakeholders to Business Services districts/charter schools. Provide support to the staff of the Business Services district/charter schools in the area of school accounting. Assist schools with funding questions, in relations to summary of finance. Reconcile districts bank statements and federal, state, and property tax revenue. Review output of accountants and payroll accountants to ensure timeliness and accuracy. Develop financial information for reporting purposes including federal fund reporting. Generate districts financial PEIMS reports. Provide districts with technical assistance in understanding financial reports and accounting issues. Supervise and support payroll personnel in accounting issues. Maintain a continuous auditing program for all funds and assist the district’s independent auditor in conducting the annual or periodic audit. Develops and presents training material. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Salary Range: | 226 DAYS $90,759 (minimum) - $110,681 (midpoint) |
