| Description/Notes: |
Primary Function: Under the direction of the Director of Special Services, assists in planning, coordinating, implementing and supervising the District’s special services program. Provides leadership, training, and technical assistance to special services personnel to ensure the needs of students are being met, and that local, federal and state guidelines are being followed. |
| Qualifications: |
Education/Licenses/Experience: Master’s degree in education or related field. Valid Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsement preferred. Texas mid-management or other appropriate Texas certificate preferred. Three years as a special educator (teacher, therapist, diagnostician, or LSSP). Three years of special education administrative/leadership experience preferred. Experience with multiple grade levels preferred. |
