| Description/Notes: | The Director of Finance will be responsible for maintaining the District's general ledger; reviewing, reconciling and reporting general ledger accounts for most funds of the District and provide accounting support to all campuses and departments on a daily basis. The incumbent will also supervise accounting staff. |
| Qualifications: | • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred from an accredited college or university • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and accounting systems. • Experience and working knowledge of TEA's Financial Accountability Resource Guide (FASRG) and GASB pronouncements preferred • Certified Public Accountant License (CPA) a plus • TASBO certification a plus • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or school district • Strong, effective oral and written communication skills and ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform and interpret data |
| Salary Range: | Starting Salary: $ 79,000 -- 226 Workday Calendar |
