| Description/Notes: | JG Consulting has engaged with the Hutto Independent School District (Hutto ISD) to recruit qualified candidates to serve as the Executive Director of Student Services. The Executive Director of Student Services will evaluate and provide leadership for student academic and social services across the district. This role is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Student Services Department including counseling services, and health services and the implementation of student differentiated support with research-based strategies, and compliance with state and national requirements under the supervision of Associate Superintendent and in close collaboration with Instruction and Innovation Departments of School Leadership and Academics which is primarily responsible for the implementation of the goals in the District Strategic Plan. Hutto ISD is a proud district that develops community involvement and support through strong relationships and caring for all kids. Hutto ISD offers more than just a high school diploma through a wide range of advanced and college-level courses, dual-credit coursework; a Career and Technical Education program featuring numerous certifications including culinary arts, health sciences, business and veterinarian programs; award-winning and state-recognized art, band, orchestra, dance, music and athletic programs, a state-awarded and nationally recognized FCCLA program; and excellent expanded facilities. During the past 15 years, the number of students attending Hutto ISD has increased from just over 1,000 students in one K-12 campus to more than 9,646 students at twelve campuses, and enrollment continues to grow each year. |
| Qualifications: | Education/Certification: - Master’s degree in Educational Administration - Valid Texas administrative certification Special Knowledge/Skills: - Knowledge of wrap around student services - Experience in instructional coaching and feedback models - Experience working collaboratively with school counseling and MTSS processes or systems - Ability to evaluate instructional programs and effectiveness - Ability to manage budget and personnel - Ability to coordinate district functions - Ability to implement policy and procedures - Ability to interpret data - Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience: - Three years’ experience as a classroom teacher - Three or more years of campus administrative experience required. - Seven years of district and/or campus administrative or supervisory experience preferred. |
