| Description/Notes: | Under the direction and supervision of the Campus Principal or designee, the candidate will plan instruction, teach, differentiate instruction, motivate, inspire, and assess students. The candidate will promote a high quality, personalized education program that reflects the TEKS Content Standards. *Develops and presents lesson that demonstrate planning and preparation while using a variety of instructional techniques and materials, which are appropriate to meet the needs of all students. *Organizes classroom systems/procedures and manages student behavior to ensure all students are fully engaged and learning. *Collaborates with special education staff for the purpose of attaining goals designated in students' IEPs and 504 plans. *Actively participates in professional development opportunities and collaborates with District personnel and peers for the purposes of improving the quality of student outcomes and planning curriculum in social studies. *Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative student data. *Establishes a culture of high expectations. |
| Qualifications: | Requires Bachelor's degree from accredited university and valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan; demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned. |
