| Description/Notes: | Primary Purpose: The Director of Finance will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the District and will ensure that best practices related to sound financial management are developed, implemented and monitored. |
| Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field. CPA preferred but not required. TASBO certification preferred but not required. Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Five (5) years of successful experience in business management in a school district within the last eight (8) years. Three (3) years as a director or department supervisor in a business services department of a school district. Experience with Skyward Accounting Software preferred. Knowledge of budgeting, accounting systems, and payroll processing. Knowledge of State and Federal requirements and regulations Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting. Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and perform data analysis. Ability to implement policy and procedures. Ability to interpret data. Ability to manage budget and personnel. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills. |
| Salary Range: | $364.90 - 503.92 / 230 days / Daily Rate |
