It consists of one campus in two next-door buildings - an elementary building and a middle / high school building. Marathon ISD serves Pre-K through 12th grade students, and in 2018-2019 its student enrollment was 55 students. Their schools provide a wonderful educational opportunity for students with a wide range of academic goals. For those seeking a college path, Marathon ISD offers a rigorous curriculum and extensive dual credit opportunities. Students can begin taking dual credit classes as freshmen which allows them to achieve up to sixty hours of college credit before graduation. Marathon ISD is an accredited public school with several distinction designations from the Texas Education Agency to its credit. It is home to a dedicated faculty and motivated student body.
